Payment Splitter Tool

Split your customer's bill

Enter the merchant UPI ID and total bill amount to generate payment QR codes.

QR codes are payment requests only. Payment confirmation requires verification through a legitimate payment-status provider. This tool never asks for your UPI PIN or banking passwords.

What is a UPI Payment Splitter?

A UPI payment splitter is a simple tool that breaks a single customer bill into several smaller UPI payments. Instead of asking the customer to pay one large amount, the merchant generates multiple QR codes, each requesting a portion of the total. This is useful when a merchant wants to keep individual UPI payment requests under a set limit, such as ₹1,999 per QR.

How Does QR Code Payment Splitting Work?

The merchant selects their UPI ID and enters the total bill. The tool divides the amount into chunks of ₹1,999 or less, then creates a UPI payment QR code for each chunk. The customer scans and pays each QR in turn. As each payment is verified, the matching card updates to show a success mark, and the progress bar moves toward the full amount.

Why Split a Large Bill Into Multiple Payments?

Some merchants prefer to keep individual UPI requests below a threshold for easier tracking, reconciliation, or to match their payment provider's per-transaction limits. Splitting the bill into smaller QR payments lets the merchant collect the full amount across several manageable payments without changing the total the customer owes.

Example of a Split Payment

For a bill of ₹4,500, the tool generates three QR codes:

The three amounts always add up to the original total, and no single QR requests more than ₹1,999.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the maximum amount ₹1,999?

The ₹1,999 cap keeps each UPI payment request small and manageable. It is a configurable limit set for the tool, not a UPI platform rule.

How many QR codes can be generated?

The tool generates the minimum number of QR codes needed so that every payment is ₹1,999 or less and the total matches the bill exactly.

Does the website process money?

No. The website only creates UPI payment QR requests. The actual payment happens through the customer's UPI app and the payment infrastructure.
